OG Traffic

FAQ

Quick answers about OG Traffic. Still need help? Email us.

What does OG Traffic actually do?
It generates research-backed, GEO-optimized blog posts for non-technical SMB owners. You give it a topic; it researches sources, writes 2–3K words with citations, scores the post for AI-search readiness (GEO), and publishes a draft to your CMS. You review and ship.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT writes in one shot from training data. OG Traffic runs a 5-phase pipeline (research → analyze → outline → write → package) that pulls live sources, places real citations, and validates the output against a scoring rubric tuned for AI search engines. It also wraps three human-in-the-loop gates so you stay in control.
How much does it cost?
We're in closed beta. Approved beta users get a credit budget per period — no card needed. Paid plans launch after beta. Joining the waitlist on the homepage gets you in line for an invite + a 50% lifetime discount when paid plans go live.
How do I get into the beta?
Add yourself on the homepage — we approve in batches. Approval triggers a magic-link email; click it and you're in.
Who owns the content?
You. Generated posts are yours from the moment they land in your draft. We don't republish or train models on your output.
Which languages are supported?
Any BCP-47 locale — English (US/UK), Lithuanian, German, Spanish, French and more all work today. Quality is highest in English; Lithuanian is actively QA'd (the team works in LT). Tell us your locale and we'll calibrate the writer prompts to match.
Where do my posts publish?
WordPress (REST API + Application Password), Ghost (Admin API), generic webhooks (with HMAC signing), and Next.js sites via GitHub PR (your Vercel deploys the preview automatically). All publish as drafts so you can review before going live.
Does it generate images?
Yes — hero images by default (1200×630 webp via Gemini), optional per-section images for how-tos and comparisons. Images upload to our Cloudflare R2 storage and are referenced by URL, so they portably attach to whichever destination you publish to.
What is the GEO score?
GEO = Generative Engine Optimization. The score (0–100) measures how well a post is structured for AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews — citations, entity density, schema markup, content hierarchy, etc. We aim for 70+; an editor reviews tier and feedback before the post completes.
What happens if a run fails halfway?
Click Retry from last checkpoint. The pipeline saves state after every node, so retries resume where they crashed — you don't re-pay for the LLM work that already succeeded.
Can I edit the post before publishing?
Yes. The preview page has an inline markdown editor with a live render, plus a theme switcher that approximates how the post will look on WordPress, Ghost, or your Next.js site before you commit to a target.
How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?
Email hello@ogtraffic.com. Beta users — please include your run id (visible on the run detail page) and what you expected to happen.
